Spontaneous Day Trip to Galena, IL

Was bored today, so I decided to explore the upper midwest to the tune of 350 miles. I found corn. Lots of corn. And also some amazing back roads! Made the best of a rainy day and took some photos that still turned out decently. Once again the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 delivers.

Baha’i House of Worship

To quote the Wikipedia article: "The Bahá'í House of Worship (or Bahá'í Temple) in Wilmette, Illinois, is the oldest surviving Bahá'í House of Worship in the world, and the only one in the United States." Some REAL Snow

Finally getting an opportunity to drive the car in some real snow. So far, the snow tires are doing their job. Definitely not as quick off the line as the Outback was, but still manages just fine! This seemed like a good place to take a photo, since the white house and snow made a good contrast to the WRB :) Skokie, IL
