This winter is supposed to be unusually warm due to the super-strong El Niño that is in effect, and indeed it has been rather warm recently. However, we just got walloped with the largest November snowfall the Chicago region has seen in 120 years! It wasn’t an absurd amount of snow, but some places had 18″ or so.
Having heard about this impending storm, I quickly made the switch to winter tires, so I’ll be on those flobbery tires for the next couple of months (boo!) On the bright side, snow = doriftooooo!!! The video below isn’t particularly interesting. Just a bit of fun in a parking lot, and then a bit of driving down some side streets so you guys can see what the BRZ is like when you’re… slightly spirited… with the right pedal in the snow.
