Chicago SCCA: Autocross Event #4 (2017)

4 for 4! We are well on our way to securing the Class win now! Not much to say about this event. Things went pretty well overall, I think. I continued to play around with 3rd gear at this event. I’m not sure it was really saving me any time, but I need the practice of downshifting quickly and smoothly from 3rd to 2nd under pressure, so the more I do it, the better I’ll get!

A Good Autocross

I’m not going to write a few paragraphs for no reason here. This was a good autocross. There wasn’t anything that specifically bugged me about this event; nothing that I severely struggled with. I think I’m starting to kinda-sorta get the hang of this stuff now! In fact, the most interesting thing about this autocross is the insane storm we drove through while leaving the event, which you can read about here.

Other than that, this was a fairly straightforward event, so here’s my fastest run below!
